Day Two in Kohima

Feels like Italy? Supposedly this cathedral was built out of diverted funds. The then officer was catholic and used the government money to build this structure instead.

Kohima Convoy

Thanks to unfavorable weather conditions, NH39 was blocked. Following heavy landslides, the roads connecting Dimapur and Kohima was off limits so we made a detour...

It took a longer time but it didn't matter.

Riding through golden paddy fields, the muddy roads dared not dampen the smiling drivers. Their wheels were stuck in dirt, but their only complaint was, "hey, your car looks cleaner than mine."
